Am I qualified as translator? My home language is German, still used daily. I have a BA Degree with English and Afrikaans as main subjects, German and French secondary. I was a German Teacher for some years. I further worked as News Translator for the local broadcasting corporation for a time. So yes, I can translate any normal website copy. I do not endeavor to translate technical, medical or specialized copy.
Proof-reading
The fact that one cannot easily correct oneself makes it necessary to have someone else proof-read your website copy to eliminate errors which you as author cannot detect. With my above qualifications I can confidently include this service here.
